Fun Day For Normand Park

Posted by Tom Shaw on Aug 27, 08 04:23 PM in Clubs/societies

The Friends of Normand Park are holding a fun day from noon to 5pm on Saturday.

There will be paper sculpting, drumming, dance workshops and face painting for children.

As part of a £2.2million revamp of the park, which re-opened in July, a community garden was built by the Mulgrave Road entrance.

It is for people who live near the Lillie Road park to grow their own produce and discussions will be held on how it will be run.

Visitors can also get advice on how to stop smoking together with blood pressure and cholesterol checks.

We'd like to hear from you.
