Pub conker championship

A conker championship is being held at the Eagle pub, in Askew Road, Shepherd's Bush at 4pm on Sunday.

The entrance fee is £3, which includes a conker, ensuring no competitors can tamper with their chestnuts before the contest.

The winner receives a free pint at the Eagle every week for a year.

All money raised will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital, Great Ormond Street, Bloomsbury.
