Queen's Wharf exhibition

Posted by Tom Shaw on Oct 15, 08 02:27 PM in

A developer has launched a three-day consultation on the future of the Queens Wharf building by Hammersmith Bridge.

Westcity and Byrne Estates bought the derelict building at the end of 2007 and want to turn it into a new riverside walkway, restaurant, offices and homes.

The developer is offering people a rare chance to look inside parts of the building during a public exhibition of its plans.

There will also be information displayed about the building's 250-year history, which was uncovered by the new owners.

The exhibition will be at the Queens Wharf building, Queen Caroline Street on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm, Friday from 2pm to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
